"Cha~Cha" features 3SO in New Album

OH BOY!!!! Wait until May 2009, you will be surprised. 3SO just finished recording "Karma" with R&B/Pop sensation Melissa "Cha-Cha" Figueroa at Ante Up Studios in Cleveland, Ohio on April 14, 2009. This is the first collaboration that 3SO has done with Cha Cha and hopefully won't be the last. "Karma" will be featured in Cha-Cha's upcoming release in May. We are very excited about the project and are currently planning a few shows together to promote the upcoming release.
When you get a chance, check out Cha-Cha's website at www.whoischacha.com.

3SO Rockin in Tennessee

Our trip to Tennessee was great! An 8 hour drive full of jokes great music and lots and lots of snacks! Although we started our trip at 7:30am on Saturday (04-18-09) morning; it really kicked off at about 8am when Marco had a Spinal Tap moment trying to get out of the van. It was quite hilarious. As we were filling up the tank with gas, we learned that when the gas cap is open the sliding door will not open, for safety reasons. It was beyond funny watching Marco act like a caged animal trying to get out of the van. Oh, if I only had a video camera.

45 minutes into the trip, Alan, acting all goofy while driving, decides to speed passed us. So, like any other individual I took advantage of the opportunity and had Alex speed up toward Alan and decided to plant my butt cheeks on the glass for highway public and of course everyone that was in the other car to see. You just had to be there to truly appreciate the moment. Alan and the others decided to pay their respects back later...and OH BOY!

We finally arrived in Tennessee and checked into the hotel. The trip was a bit draining so we decided to just chill out. We get to the venue and load up like usual and all is cool. "The Wall Street" really reminds me of the Maple Grove in Maple Heights. They had the bar downstairs and the venue upstairs for the bands. And, if you wanted to go up stairs you would have to pay the cover.

We met up with Forgotten Fable and Snow Black Sunday (Headliners). Both bands were really cool and down to earth. 9:40pm rolls around and we hit the stage for a 40 minute set. All kicks off well with our first song "Dirty Little Nightmare". At that time, there really was no crowd yet, just a couple of people. Leading into the 2nd song of our set, my stomach starts to cramp up and churn as if someone fed me a laxative. The next 20 minutes sucked, because my entire body was in wicked pain. After we finished performing "Descended" I immediately ran across the stage and told Al to play a blues instrumental or something because I could not hold it any longer. The rest of the band looked a bit dumbfounded as I hurled off the stage and ran like Finch from the movie American Pie to the can. Its funny as hell now, but it sure wasn't then.

After "handling" my business, I ran back upstairs to finish the set. Mind you, I was physically exhausted from the whole fiasco that I only had the energy to perform 2 more songs and cut our set by about 10 minutes. Nobody seemed to mind it at all. Whatever the guys did while I was gone seemed to really appease the crowd, which was great! Even the venue management thought it was great.

The rest of the night was pretty cool. A couple people that caught our set took the time to meet with us and talk about the trip down. We even met a few people that came to catch the show after only befriending them on Myspace just a few days before the show! After the show, we all headed back to the hotel to party and grab a bite to eat!

The drive back home was no where as entertaining as the drive down because it rained all the way back up to Ohio. Plus we almost were pushed off the side of the road by idiotic drivers. All in all, the trip was great! We will definitely head back down to Tennessee, hopefully in a couple of months. We hope to see everyone that came out over the weekend to come back again!

Keep Rockin,

The "Jig is Up" Show Cancelled on 3/27th @ Jigsaw Salooon

Well, Kats and Kitties, as some of you might have read in the recent Cleveland Scene Magazine, the Jigsaw Saloon & Stage will be closing its doors for awhile. For how long? And, in this economy? Only the investors know. But, do not fret, we are extremely excited about the upcoming Battle of the Bands on 04/10 @ Peabody's downtown. 3SO will be up against Killer Whale Theory and Cell bound from what I heard and 6 other bands for a shot to perform at the Music is a Weapon show with Disturbed, Chaimara & Lacuna Coil on May 3rd.

So, what does that mean! Well, it means we need your help and support! We need all our fans to make it to this show and show your support and the rest of the bands competing that we should peform with all those great bands I just mentioned. So, let us know. Send us a message on myspace or email jason@3soband.com. Tickets are on sale now directly from the band and are $10.00 each. All Ages!
